This is an application for extension of time granted by this Court for furnishing surety vide order dated 28th April, 2017. 2.

The applicant was released on bail by the Court of Sessions vide order dated 21st July, 2016. The applicant was directed to be released on bail on furnishing PR. Bond of Rs.25000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. The applicant could not furnish the sureties and therefore he preferred Criminal Application no.615 of 2016 before this Court. By order dated 28th April, 2017, the applicant was permitted to furnish additional cash bail of Rs.25000/- in lieu of 1/2

It is submitted that the applicant has furnished cash bail of Rs.25000/- and he has been released, however, the applicant has not furnished surety. It is submitted that the applicant went to Uttar Pradesh and fell sick and therefore he could not furnish surety within the stipulated time.

Learned advocate for the applicant submits that the time to furnish surety may be extended by further period of six weeks and he may be permitted to be on cash bail as directed by this Court. 4.

Considering the circumstances as stated herein above, relief sought can be granted to the applicant. Hence, I pass following order; :: ORDER ::

(i) The cash facility provided as per order dated 28th April, 2017 is extended for further period of six weeks from today. (ii) The applicant should furnish sureties as directed by the Sessions Court within six weeks from today.

(iii) Application stands disposed of.
