P.C.:- Mr. Shaikh, the learned counsel for the Petitioner restricts the petition to the following relief :
"a. That this Hon'ble Court in its writ jurisdiction may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus and/or any other writ or direction to the Respondents to furnish the inspection of documents bearing (1) BOM/R/2425/1983 (2) BOM/R/2426/1983, Index Book, Day Book, Receipt and Photo Films and further direction to furnish the certified copies of the documents bearing (1) BOM/R/2425/1983 (2) BOM/R/2426/1983, Index Book, Day Book and receipts to the Petitioners forthwith."

The learned AGP on instructions of the concerned officer, makes a statement that inspection of the documents referred in prayer clause (a) would be given to the Petitioner during the office hours and that he would also be furnished certified copies, if applied, within a period of two weeks. Statement is accepted.

In view of the statement made by the learned AGP above, Mr. Shaikh fairly concedes that grievance made in the petition no more survives. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. (SMT.
