Heard learned counsel for the applicant.

This is an application for default bail under Section 167(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (hereafter "the Cr.P.C.", for short) filed by the applicant through jail. 3.

I am informed that the stage of the trial is for recording of statement under Section 313 of the Cr.P.C. The trial has proceeded and is on the verge of completion. Considering that the applicant is in custody for more than six years, the trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of eight weeks from today.
