At the outset, learned counsel for the applicant, does not press this application, however prays that the trial of the Applicant be expedited.

Learned APP states on instructions, that the trial has commenced and till date 1 witness has been examined and that the prosecution intends to examine 5 - 7 more witnesses.

Since the trial has already commenced, it will be appropriate to direct the learned Judge to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and in any event within 6 months from the date of receipt of this order. 4.
