Heard the parties.

By way of Order dated 21st September, 2021, this Court has already protected the Applicant. Learned Advocate for the Applicant submits that the Applicant has abide the conditions in the order. He has co-operated with the investigation. Now even a charge sheet is filed on 15th March, 2024. He therefore prays for allowing the Application.

Learned APP informs that the Applicant has attended police station as directed by this Court by order dated 21st September, 2021. He however submits that during the investigation it transpired that the present Applicant is involved in an offence and therefore this Application be rejected.

After hearing the parties, it is seen that in the FIR the name of the Applicant does not appear. Subsequently his name came to be added. Now investigation is completed and charge sheet is also filed. No purpose would be served by taking the Applicant in custody. The Application is thus allowed in terms of the Order dated 21st September, 2021, except Clause-ii of the operative order. The same be read as the "Applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when called by the police."

Hence the Application stands disposed of.
