The applicant is apprehending arrest in C.R. No.481 of 2021 registered with Antop Hill Police Station for offence u/s.420 of Indian Penal Code. The applicant is doctor by profession. The grievance of the complainant is that Rs.1,00,000/- was parted to the applicant for providing bed in Covid Hospital as the father of complainant was suffering from Covid and other ailments.

The applicant and the complainant is present in the Court. The consent terms are taken on record and marked as "X" for identification. The complainant confirms that the amount has been received. The complainant is identified by the learned Advocate representing her. The consent terms indicate that both the parties have also agreed for quashing the proceedings by consent. 4.

In view of the above, this application can be allowed. Hence, I pass the following order:

ORDER

(i) Anticipatory Bail Application No. 2155 of 2021 is allowed;

(ii) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with C.R. No.481 of 2021 registered with Antop Hill Police Station, Mumbai the applicant be released on bail on furnishing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount;

(iii) Anticipatory Bail Application stands disposed of accordingly.
