This is an application for cancellation of warrant issued against the present applicant, who is the respondent/acquitted accused in the appeal filed by the State challenging his acquittal. The learned Advocate for the applicant/respondent in the appeal submits that on admission of the appeal, the action under Section 390 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is directed by this Court and, therefore, the warrant needs to be cancelled.
