After this Petition was heard for some time, we noted that the only grievance of the Petitioners is about the inaction of Respondent No.2Committee to pass any order on the application for issuance of a Caste Validity Certificate.

We orally requested Ms. Bhende, learned A.G.P., to take instructions as to when Respondent No.2-Committee will find time and decide this application.

3.

We placed the matter at 5 pm in order to enable Ms. Bhende to take instructions.

Ms. Bhende has stated before us, on telephonic instructions, that 1/2 WPL-20311-16.doc

Respondent No.2-Committee has indicated that it will pass appropriate orders and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from today.

We accept the statement of Ms. Bhende, made on instructions, as an undertaking given to this Court.

We do not think that anything else can be addressed by this Court when it is purely factual.
