1] This appeal at the instance of State has been filed against the judgment and order dated 25.11.2005 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Ichalkaranji, District - Kolhapur, in Criminal Appeal No.10 of 2005. By the impugned judgment and order, the appeal was allowed and the present respondent who was original accused in Sessions Case No. 253 of 2001 has been acquitted for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code. 2] Heard learned APP for the State. It is reported that the sole respondent herein has expired on 24th May, 2019 at Kabnoor, District Kolhapur. The Death certificate alongwith the statement of Shri Tejgounda Patil- son of the deceased is filed through PI Shivaji Nagar Police Station, District- Kolhapur.
