This is an application for extension of time granted for filing of surety for a further period of six weeks. The Applicant was granted bail during pendency of Criminal Appeal No.418 of 2022 vide order dated 06/05/2022. In clause 3 of the operative Digitally signed by MANUSHREE V NESARIKAR Date:

Applicant is permitted to furnish cash bail security of Rs.20,000/-, for a period of ten weeks, in lieu of surety.' Nesarikar

After that period he was supposed to furnish surety in the like amount. Till today the Applicant is unable to furnish surety.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Applicant has changed his advocate. He could not enter the jurisdiction of Malbar Hill Police Station and therefore he could not contact his relatives. Because of these reasons, he could not furnish the sureties within time.

Learned counsel makes a statement that the cash surety of Rs.20,000/- is already furnished. Considering this request, the time to furnish the surety is extended by a further period of four weeks. Application is disposed of. (SARANG V. KOTWAL, J.)
