The petitioners are mother-in-law and sister-in-law of respondent No.2. The FIR was registered on 15.11.2016 for ofËences under Sections 49n8-A, 406 and 506 read with 34 of the IPC. The marriage of accused No.1 and respondent No.2 was solemnized on 5.5.19n9n6.

Learned Advocate for the petitioners submitted that the FIR has been registered after the period of 20 years from the date of marriage of respondent No.2 with accused No.1. The petitioners and respondent No.2 are residing separately since 19n9n9n. The matter is due before trial Court on 11.4.2024 for framing charge.

To enable respondent No.2 to appear in the proceedings, the petition is required to be adjourned. Stand over to 12.06.2024.
