The Applicant, apprehending arrest, in connection with investigation of Crime No.26/2020 of Police Station Igatpuri, District Nashik, under Section 353, 341, 188, 269, 270, 504 and 506 r/w. 34 of IPC, is seeking anticipatory bail. 2.
The aforesaid offence is registered on the basis of the complaint lodged by Police Constable Monali Pawar, attached to Igatpuri Police Station. Incidentally, the Applicant also happens to be a Police Constable. The incident happened on 11 April 2020, at Mamta Kale page 1 of 3
about 18.45 hours, in which the Applicant alongwith another lady was riding a Honda Activa bearing No.MH-15-GZ-0130. They were intercepted by the R.C.P.F. and it is said that in the incident, the Applicant claimed that she being a Police Officer can travel anywhere without a pass, as was required during the lockdown. She is also alleged to have created ruckus on the road. 3.
With the assistance of the learned counsel for the parties, I have perused the FIR.

Prima facie, the conduct of the Applicant as alleged, as a member of the police force cannot be appreciated. However, considering the fact that the investigation is complete and the statement of the Investigating Officer that the Applicant may be directed to join the investigation, the following order is passed.
ORDER
(i) In the event of her arrest, in connection with investigation of Crime No.26/2020 of Police Station Igatpuri, District Nashik, the Applicant be released on bail on executing a P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount.
(ii) The Applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer on 1/3/2022 and 2/3/2022 between 11.00 Mamta Kale page 2 of 3
a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and as and when required and shall cooperate with the Investigating Agency.
(iii) The Criminal Application is disposed of, in the aforesaid terms.
