DATE : 4th September, 2018 P.C:- 1) The learned APP submits that the trial has already commenced. In the light of the said statement, Mr. Niranjan Mundargi, learned counsel for the applicant, under instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the bail application. He however, submits that the applicant is in custody since November, 2014 and requests that necessary directions may be given to the learned Trial Court to dispose of the matter expeditiously. Leave is granted. 2) The application is dismissed as withdrawn. Considering that the applicant is languishing in jail since 2014 and also considering the fact that the trial has already commenced, the learned Sessions Judge shall endeavour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
