The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has placed on record a copy of the letter/order of rectification issued by the Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra State Waqf Board, Aurangabad addressed to District Superintendent of Land Records, Sangli. The same is taken on record and marked X-1 for identification. On the basis of the said letter/order, on 5th December, 2016 the Deputy Superintendent of Land Records, Tasgaon has taken necessary steps. Hence, the challenge to the impugned order/letter does not survive. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
