Learned advocate for the applicant seeks withdrawal of this application. However, it is submitted that this Court while deciding the application for bail preferred by the co-accused viz. Criminal Bail Application No.2008 of 2016 had passed an order dated 28th February, 2017 directing the trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude recording of evidence as far as possible within ten months from the date of receipt of order. Period stipulated in the said order has not expired.

Learned advocate for the applicant however submitted that not a single witness has been examined till date. The charge has been framed against the accused. The applicant is in custody since 2011. 1/2

The trial Court is, therefore, directed to comply with the directions issued by this Court vide order dated 28th February, 2017 and conclude the trial expeditiously as ordered by this Court. 4.

Application stands disposed of as withdrawn.
