The learned counsel for the appellant has placed on record photocopy of the Death Certificate dated 18th February 2019 issued by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, D Ward meaning that Tejkumar Balkrishna Ruia died on 12th February 2019. 1-APPEAL-818-2013.doc Certificate is marked as Exhibit A. With this, the learned counsel for the appellant submitted that because of death of the appellant, the appeal abates.

The learned counsel appearing for the prosecuting agency Central Bureau of Investigation has not disputed death of appellant Tejkumar Balkrishna Ruia occurring on 12th February 2019 and she also submits that the appeal stands abated because of death of Tejkumar Balkrishna Ruia.

In this view of the matter, the appeal stands abated and is consigned to record.
