The petitioner, by filing this petition, is challenging the show cause notice under Section 59 of the Bombay Police Act, 1951.

As of today, the order under Section 56(a) of the Bombay Police Act, 1951 is not passed. The said order would be passed only after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The petitioner, is always at liberty, to file reply if not already filed to the notice under Section 59 and point out to the competent authority as to why an action under Section 56 should not be taken against him.

In the above circumstances, we are not inclined to entertain the petition in exercise of the jurisdiction conferred upon Shubhada S Kadam 1/2
Sr.No. 44 WP 2999.15 this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The writ petition, accordingly, stands dismissed.
