On 30th January, 2020, the above PIL was placed for admission. However, since nobody appeared on behalf of the petitioners, by way of indulgence, the matter was adjourned. Today also, nobody appeared on behalf of the petitioners. The grievance raised in the PIL is regarding registration of FIR for offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at the instance of respondent No.6-wife of the petitioner No.2. The grievance raised in the PIL, in our opinion, is not in public interest. We are, therefore, not inclined to entertain this PIL and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
