The Public Interest Litigation is filed by a resident citizen on an apprehension that the Rules framed by this Court would dilute his rights under the Right to Information Act, 2005, the same will result in denial of information to a deserving Applicant. 2.
During the course of this Public Interest Litigation, the Rules framed by this Court titled as Bombay High Court Right to Information (Revised) Rules, 2009 have been further amended so 1/2
906-PIL-55-2012.DOC as to take care of apprehensions of this PIL Petitioners. Now, most of the apprehensions and particularly arising out of implementation of the Rules enlisted at pages 18 to 20 of the Petition would not survive.

In view thereof, the Public Interest Litigation and Writ Petition both stand disposed of.
