Learned Metropolitan Magistrate in Criminal Case No.12386/SS/2018 directed the accused to pay compensation in terms of Section 143A of the Negotiable Instruments Act in April, 2019. This order is assailed in

Rane 2/2 WP-4560-2021-SR.29 26.11.2021 this petition. That since interim compensation has not been deposited, it may be recovered from the petitioner as if it were a fne under Section 421 of the Criminal Proceduer Code. There is no substance in the challenge. No error has been commited by the trial Court directing to pay compensation. Petition is dismissed.
