Mr.Anbhule appearing on behalf of respondent No.1Savitribai Phule Pune University, on instructions, states that the autonomous, but affiliated college for professional and non professional courses, has right to admit international students provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria and to such a measure or step, the first respondent has no objection. The concerned institution, therefore, can admit such students subject to their fulfillment of other terms and conditions. Respondent No.1 has further instructed Mr.Anbhule to state that from January, 2019, M.M.Salgaonkar

918.WP-11640-19.doc the autonomous affiliated college for professional and non professional courses, shall have the authority to decide and determine the issue of eligibility of such students as well. 2.

In the circumstances, when such a statement is made concerning the students admitted by this institution prior to January 2019 as well, needless to clarify that the prayers in this writ petition, particularly prayers (b) and (c) do not survive. 3.

The petitioners are satisfied with the statement made by Mr.Anbhule on instructions.

Accepting the entire statement as an undertaking given to this Court, we dispose of this petition. There would be no order as to costs.
