Heard. At 3.00 pm the learned AGP has made a statement before this court that in Mumbai also, an appellate authority is available as per the provisions of section 16 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. She submits that there are two appellate authorities, one is Collector, Mumbai City and another is Collector, Mumbai Suburban District. The statement is accepted.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner makes a statement that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the petition as well Basavraj G Patil 1/2
18.2876.16-caw as the Civil Application with liberty to make an appropriate application before the appellate authority i.e. Collector, Mumbai Suburban District. To that effect, he has given in writing. Same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. 3.
Writ Petition as well as the Civil Application stand disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. No order as to costs.

Liberty granted to the petitioner to make appropriate application in the Registry of this court for return of certified copies filed by them in the present proceedings.

If such application is filed, same shall be considered expeditiously.
