The learned counsel for the applicant seeks protection apprehending arrest in Crime No.375 of 2016 registered by New Delhi Police Station on the basis of report lodged by one Ayushi Singh and states that he be protected till he approach to the competent Court and seek necessary bail.

Yesterday, the matter was posted for The learned Additional Public Prosecutor to obtain instructions from Dindoshi Police Station with reference to the offence, if any, registered against the applicant at New Delhi, as it was contended that police officials from Dindoshi Police Station are visiting house of applicant. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on obtaining instructions from Dindoshi Police Station stated that Crime No.375 of 2016 is registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376(D), 506 of the Indian 1/3

Penal Code and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 by Vasant Kunj Police Station, New Delhi. It is the case of applicant that in February 2015, while he was working in some Event Management Company, where other boys and girls were working, had developed friendship with one Ayushi Singh, who was from New Delhi and continued contacts with her through Whatsapp and media till February 2015, however, has learnt that she was in relationship with many others also, and has thus became victim at the hands of said girl, who has lodged false complaint against him.

The learned counsel for the applicant has contended that on 25/07/2016, applicant's father received a phone call from Dindoshi Police Station on their land-line number and the local police has approached his house with reference to offence registered at New Delhi and thus apprehends his arrest in said Crime and, therefore, prays for interim protection so as to enable him to obtain necessary orders from the competent Court at New Delhi.

In that view of the matter, following order is passed: (i) In the event of arrest of applicant Bhavesh Chanderprakash Dhanwani in Crime No. 375 of 2016 registered by Vasant Kunj Police Station, New Delhi he shall be released on bail on his executing personal bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one surety in like amount.

(ii) Interim protection granted to applicant shall be in force till 5th August 2016 so as to facilitate applicant to approach to the learned Court at New Delhi and to seek bail in the aforesaid Crime.

Application is disposed of.
