The Petitioner by this petition challenges the order of Caste Scrutiny Committee thereby validating the caste claim of the Respondent No.5 that he belongs to the Sutar-OBC category. The Caste Scrutiny Committee having taken into consideration various documents and especially school leaving certificate of Respondent No.5's father validated the Respondent No.5's caste claim of Sutar-OBC. The school leaving certificate of Respondent No.5's father is annexed at page 44. In this certificate Respondent No.5's father is shown as Panchal. There is no dispute that the castes Panchal as well as Sutar are included in OBC category. 2.

Mr. Datar, the learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the caste claim of the Respondent No.5, that she belongs to Sutar (OBC Megha 1/2

14_wp_9952_2016.doc category) could not have been validated on the basis of the school leaving certificate of the father of Respondent No.5. We do not find any merit in the contention as the entry at serial No.174 of the list of OBC category shows Panchal -Sutar is sub-caste of Sutar.

Having considered the submissions and having perused the impugned order alongwith the documents in support of the Respondent No.5's claim, we do not find any error in the impugned order.
