Heard learned counsel appearing for the applicants, learned additional public prosecutor for the State and learned counsel for the respondent no.2.

The applicant has been convicted for the offences punishable under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. His appeal has been dismissed.

The applicant be released on bail in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount or a cash bail deposit of Rs.10,000/- in lieu of surety. Borey 1/2

The Applicant shall deposit Rs. 4,00,000/- in this court within a period of two weeks from today. If the said amount of Rs.4,00,000/- is not deposited by the applicant, the bail granted to the applicant shall stand cancelled and he shall be taken in the custody immediately by the Magistrate and shall be sent to prison for undergoing the sentence. The criminal application stands disposed of in the above terms.
