Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner became owner of the subject writ property pursuant to the registered instrument of sale. The copy of the said sale deed was also submitted to the Talathi. However, no cognizance was taken in respect of the same. The name has not been mutated. The petitioner has also given the representation on 8th March, 2022. The same is not considered.

We have heard learned advocate for the petitioner and learned AGP for the respondent - State.

If a person became owner and registered his ownership,

(8) wp 15628.2022.doc the Rules provides that the names of the person as the occupant or the owner, on the basis of registered instrument, shall be recorded in the mutation record.

The Respondent No.1 - Talathi shall take a decision upon the representation dated 8th March, 2022 submitted by the petitioner on its own merits preferably within six months from today.

Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
