The petition is filed for quashing the FIR bearing No. I C.R. No.166/2014 registered with Bandra Police Station, Bandra, Mumbai, at the instance of respondent No.2, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 506 (II) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Mr. Saste, learned APP on the instructions of the officer concerned who is present before the Court, makes a statement that after completion of the investigation into the said FIR, "B" summary report is filed before the Metropolitan Magistrate, 12th Court . He has also placed on record report dated 9th February, 2016 of the Senior Police Inspector, Bandra Police Station to that effect. The same is taken on record.
