Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

After arguing the matter for some time and as the Court expressed its disinclination to entertain the application for bail, learned Counsel for the Applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application.

Learned Counsel for the Applicant, however, submits that as the applicant has been in custody since November 2021, the trial be expedited. 4.

The submissions seems justifiable.

The learned Special Judge seized with Special Case No.72 of 2022 is requested to make an endeavour to commence and conclude the trial in the said case as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order.
