This Application is received through jail seeking condonation of delay caused in filing the Appeal. The number of days of delay is not stated in the Application. The office has calculated the delay to be 1 year and 144 days. Since the Applicant/ Appellant is in jail, he could not prefer Appeal in time. He has no sufficient means to engage a lawyer. It is for this reason, he has sent a letter to the Court. This Court had directed Legal Services Authority to appoint a lawyer by way of order dated 18th July, 2023, however, the advocate is not present.
