This is an application for condonation of delay of eight days in preferring the appeal challenging conviction and resultant sentence.

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the applicant/accused. She submits that the delay in preferring the appeal is sufficiently explained.

I have considered the submissions so advanced. The application, which is on affidavit, is elaborately explaining the delay in preferring the appeal, which constitutes the sufficient cause. Therefore, the Order :

ORDER

(i) The delay in preferring the appeal is condoned. (ii) The application is disposed of accordingly.
