After hearing the learned Counsel for the applicant on the application for bail and suspension of substantive sentence during pendency of the appeal and when this Court indicated that this is not a case for grant of bail, the learned counsel for the applicant prayed for withdrawal of both the applications with liberty to apply for expeditious hearing of the appeal. As such considering the conviction of the present applicant/appellant for the offences under section 377 and 506 of IPC and under section 4 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, the present applications are allowed to be withdrawn as prayed for. The applicant can apply for expeditious hearing of the appeal in due course of time. As such both the applications are dismissed as withdrawn and disposed of accordingly.
