The relief sought in the above Petition is by way of a direction that the Respondent No.2 be directed to renew / re-issue passport bearing No.Z1778505 of the Petitioner.

It seems that the Petitioner had approached the concerned passport authority who had directed the Petitioner to obtain the NOC of the Court wherein the case for offences punishable under Section 498A etc., is pending against the Petitioner. Since the said concerned Court is seized with the matter, it is not possible for us to grant the relief sought by the Petitioner by way of prayer clause (b) of the above Petition which has been adverted to hereinabove. It is open for the Petitioner to file an application before the concerned Court for the relief which we have adverted to hereinabove and which is comprised in prayer clause (b). With the aforesaid directions, the above Criminal Writ Petition is disposed of.
