1. Heard Mr. Warunjikar, learned counsel for the Petitioner.

2. The impugned order dated 02.05.2022 calls upon the Petitioner to stop collecting charges pertaining to bio-medical waste collected from its customers from 31.05.2022 onwards. There is a statutory Appeal filed by the Petitioner before the State which is pending.

3. We direct the State to hear the said statutory Appeal dated 20.08.2021 filed under Rule 16 of the Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 within a period of two weeks from today after giving a hearing to the Petitioner and pass a speaking order within a period of 1 week thereafter. Petitioner is permitted to file written submissions and any other material in support of its case.
