The applicant had preferred anticipatory bail before this Court which was rejected by order dated 21st June, 2017. At the request of the learned advocate for he applicant, interim protection granted earlier was extended for a period of six weeks from date of the said order. Time was granted as the submission was advanced by the counsel for the applicant that the applicant intends to approach the Supreme Court challenging the said order. The present application has been preferred seeking extension of protection granted vide order 1/2

Vina k sr.945.appln.666.2017.doc dated 21st June, 2017. The period of six weeks as granted by this Court expires on 1st August, 2017. It is submitted that the parents of the applicant were ill and the applicant is the only daughter. She could not make arrangement for challenging the order before the higher court. It is therefore submitted that interim protection by this Court is extended by further for a period of four weeks. 2.

Learned APP and counsel for the intervener strongly opposed the relief as sought by the applicant on the ground that sufficient time was granted to the applicant and the applicant ought to have moved the Apex Court in case she intends to challenge the said order. It is also submitted that the investigation is affected on account of the interim protection which granted in favour of the applicant. 3.

Looking into submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the applicant, the protection as stipulated in order dated 21st June, 2017 is further extended by further a period of three weeks from 1st August, 2017.
