This application is for expediting the hearing of the Appeal No. 1677 of 2019. The Appeal is filed against an order of acquittal under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. Absolutely no grounds are made out as to why the Appeal should be taken up for final hearing out of turn when many matters are pending where the convicts are in custody and where there are senior citizens awaiting their turn. Therefore, the relief in this application cannot be granted. Appeal cannot be listed out of turn. The Interim Application for expeditious hearing is therefore, rejected.
