These applications are received through Jail. The learned counsel appointed for the applicant submitted that by the present applications the applicant has prayed that the trial pertaining to MCOC Special Case No.3/2011 pending on the file of Special Court under MCOC Act be expedited. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant was arrested on 7.9.2010 and since then he is in Jail. He further submitted that the Charge in the present case was framed by the Special Court on 19.10.2012 however, the trial is not completed till date. 2) The learned APP on instructions submitted that the trial pertaining to Special Case No.3/2011 has already began and as of

2 /2 today the prosecution has examined 10-witnesses. She on instructions further submitted that the prosecution will make an endeavor to complete the trial by the end of this year. 3) In view of the above, the learned Judge of the Special Court under MCOC Act is hereby directed to make an endeavour to conclude the trial pertaining to Special Case No.3/2011 by 31.12.2016. This direction is issued in view of the fact that the applicant is in Jail since 7.9.2010.
