This is an application for bail under Section 439 of Criminal Procedure Code filed by the aforesaid applicant, who is facing trial in Special S.C.No.199/2017 pending before the Additional Sessions Judge, Pune. The said case arises from C.R.No.67/2016 registered with Dehuroad Police Station, District Pune for offences punishable under sections 363, 376(I) of the Indian Penal Code and under section 3, 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.

Heard Mr. A.G. Waghole, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. S.S. Pednekar, learned APP for the State. I have perused the 1/2

P.H. Jayani 09 BA1701.18.doc records and considered the submissions advanced by the learned counsels for the respective parties.

Mr. S.S. Pednekar, learned APP submits that the evidence is almost concluded. Considering that the trial of the case is at the fagend, I do not wish to entertain this application. The Bail Application is, therefore, disposed of with directions to the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Pune to dispose of the Special S.C.No.199/2017 as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. 4.
