This is an application seeking expeditious hearing of the appeal No. 334 of 2014, wherein the Applicant has been convicted by the Special Court for an offence punishable under section 7 and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. 2.

At present this Court is hearing the appeals where the accused are in custody and, therefore, this appeal cannot be heard expeditiously. The application is rejected. Liberty to renew the prayer for expeditious hearing after six months. Criminal application is disposed of.
