DATED : 8th SEPTEMBER, 2023 P.C:- The learned APP Mr.Agarkar has placed on record a report from the Sr.P.I. Mahim police station in the two Writ Petitions and the report state that the Chapter proceedings were initiated against the petitioners u/s.107 of the Cr.P.C, so as to Tilak

2/2 12 WP 2599-2635-23.doc maintain peace in public place, but on the proceedings being instituted since period of six months had expired and the conduct of the petitioners is found to be satisfactory in exercise of power u/s.116(6) of the Cr.P.C, the same are closed. Recording the aforesaid statement, learned counsel for the petitioners however make a grievance that the petitioners are required to report to the police station. In the wake of the aforesaid statement contained in the communication that the proceedings initiated against the petitioners are now closed, their attendance may not be necessary. Let Mr.Agarkar furnish a copy of the communication addressed to him to the learned counsel, so as to take care of the apprehension expressed.

Writ Petitions stand disposed off.
