It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that since last several years, petitioner is trying to bring to the notice of the police that he is being threatened by the persons named by him in the complaint but due to influence exerted by those persons, police for the reasons best known to them, are not registering the FIR.

In the facts, without expressing any opinion on merits, petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to resort to appropriate alternate statutory remedy as permissible under the Code of Criminal Procedure. All issues on merits are kept open.
