This is an application seeking extension of the protection granted by this Court after rejection of the application for anticipatory bail preferred by this Court by order dated 12th June, 2017. The interim order granted earlier was extended for a period of eight weeks. It is submitted that the applicant received a copy of the order on 3rd July, 2017 and, thereafter, papers were produced for Speaking to the Minutes. The applicants intends to move the Apex Court seeking the relief under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. He, therefore, prayed that extension of eight weeks time may be granted.

rpa 2/2 appp-682-17.doc Considering the submissions made by the learned advocate appearing for the applicants, the interim protection is further extended for a period of three week from 7th August, 2017.

Criminal Application stands disposed of.
