1] In view of the order dated 14th August 2019, wisdoms having prevailed upon the State Government vide the Notification dated 21st August 2019, sub-rule (6) of rule 14 of the Consumer Protection (Appointment, Salary, Allowances and Conditions of Service of President and Members of State Commission and District Forum) Rules, 2019, has been deleted. The grievance in the Petition was to the promulgation of the rule in question and the subsequent Circular dated 11th June 2019.

2] Since the rule has been deleted, the Circular dated 11th June 2019 is declared to be non-est and void. The same shall not be applicable. The PIL is disposed of.
