By an order dated 24 January 2024, the parties have entered into the settlement and had tendered the consent terms in this Court.

By the said consent terms petitioner husband was supposed to pay a sum of Rs.1,70,00,000/- for a safe future of his wife and two daughters. The payment was supposed to be made in certain installments and last of such installment was to be made in 30 September 2024.

Both the counsel hereby agree that a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- was paid as per the consent terms by the Petitioner(husband) to the respondent on 24 January 2020. Amol D. Nawale

6.wp.8364.2019.doc However, as the petitioner husband had earlier made statement that in any case he will try to pay the entire amount as soon as possible, accordingly as of today the balance of sum of Rs.1,60,00,000/- is paid by way of four demand drafts. A receipt to that effect is also been tendered by the learned advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. Kothari, learned counsel appearing for the respondent has accepted the four demand drafts in presence of the sole respondent. The receipt dated 6 March 2024 tendered before this Court is taken on record and marked as "X" for identification. 5.

In view of the same, nothing survive in this petition. I have already been accepted the undertaking given in this court. 6.

The Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 7.

In view of the same, the time period granted by this Court of filing and the petition for quashing of FIR bearing No.61 of 2018 and charge-sheet No.40 of 2018, is further extended by four weeks. Both the parties will cooperate in the process of quashing of the FIR. So also the parties hereby agree that since the entire amount as mentioned in the consent terms has been paid today, they will take immediate steps to withdraw all the proceedings which they have filed against each other.
