The grievance of the petitioner is that his caste validity claim is pending before respondent No.2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee since 2002. In support of his statement that the matter is pending since 2002 the document (Exhibit C) has been filed by the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the petition by directing respondent No. 2 ­ Caste Scrutiny Committee to 1/2

29.WP 4193-18.doc decide the petitioner's caste validity claim as expeditiously as possible, but in any case before 31st December, 2018. 4.

Till the petitioner's claim is decided by respondent No.2 ­ Caste Scrutiny Committee, the services of the petitioner shall not be terminated on the ground that he has not submitted the caste validity certificate.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
