The petitioner was granted admission to the Post Graduate Course against a seat which was meant for All India Quota.

As after the petitioner cancelled her admission, she was called upon to pay an amount of Rs.20,00,000/- which claimed to have deposited.

It appears that the seat which felt vacant because of cancellation of admission of the petitioner, in mock up round was filled in. As such, petitioner moved an application for refund of the said amount.

The respondent No.2 has forwarded the request of the petitioner for seeking appropriate directions from the State Government/Director, Medical Education.

We are informed that till this date, neither the Directorate of Medical Education i.e respondent No.1 and Respondent No.2 nor the State Government i.e. respondent No.3 have decided the claim of the petitioner for refund of the amount. 6.
In this background, it will be appropriate, in our opinion, to dispose of the present writ petition with directions to the respondents to decide the claim of the petitioner for refund of the amount in the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in any case, within period of three months from the date of production of this order. 7.
The petition as such stands disposed of.
