Since the provisions of Prevention of Atrocities (Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes) Act, 1989 ( for short "the said Act") were invoked, the applicant was permitted to convert this application into an appeal under the provisions of the said Act. 2.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that instead of converting this application the applicant may be granted liberty to prefer an appeal as per the provisions of the said Act. 3.

In view of the submission, this application is allowed to be withdrawn and stands disposed of accordingly.
