This application is received from jail for condoning the delay of 1 year 98 days in filing the appeal against conviction. The appellant herein has been held guilty for the offences under Section 363, 366 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 6 of POCSO Act, and has been sentenced for 10 years.

Ms. Nasreen Ayubi, who is on the panel of Advocates of the Maharashtra State Legal Service Authority, is appointed as an Advocate to espouse the cause of the applicant. 3.

Considering the reasons stated in the application, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. Application is allowed. 4.
