None appeared for the appellant though called out twice. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that as per status shown on the the City Civil Court website, the suit has been dismissed for want of prosecution on 3rd April 2018. In view of this position, nothing survives in this appeal, the same is disposed of. Needless to state that it is open for the appellant to take steps as permissible in law in case the suit is restored. Pending civil applications also stand disposed.
