Heard the learned Advocate for the Applicant & the learned APP for the State. 2.

The learned Advocate for the Applicant seeks leave to withdraw the Application. He however, submits that having regard to the nature of the evidence and the fact that the Applicant is in custody since 8th March, 2019, the trial court may be directed to expedite the trial.

Having regard to the period of incarceration, the prayer seems reasonable. The Trial Court is requested to commence and conclude the trial in Sessions Case No.162 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible and preferably by the end of March, 2023. 4.
