This application is filed by the original informant for intervention in Criminal Appeal No.817 of 2014. Criminal Appeal No.817 of 2014 is filed by original accused no.2 Bharat Polaji Ghanchi @ Ghelot challenging the judgment and order dated 2.9.2014 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Pune in Shivgan 1/3

Sessions Case No.146 of 2011. By the said judgment and order, appellant Bharat Polaji Ghanchi @ Ghelot is convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. For the offence punishable under Section 302 of the IPC, the appellant was sentenced to suffer life imprisonment and to pay fine of Rs.2,000/- in default to pay fine, he was directed to undergo R.I. for three months. For the offence punishable under Section 380 of the IPC, he was sentenced to suffer R.I. for 5 years and to pay fine of Rs.2,000/- in default to pay fine, he was directed to suffer R.I. for three months.

Applicant has neither grievance against the judgment and order impugned in the said appeal nor he preferred separate appeal under Section 372 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. In the above circumstances, we are not inclined to grant applicant's prayer. Applicant is, however, at liberty to assist the PP in Appeal No.817 of 2014.
